I'd like to address some common complaints about Chinese restaurants:
"The service is bad/not what I expected.": Many Chinese restaurants are opened by immigrants who had to learn a second, third, or even fourth language. That being said, it's not uncommon for Chinese restaurant staff to be rude/overbearing. Really, as a true Chinese foodie I look for comments about rude staff as a benchmark of whether the restaurant is legitimate. Obviously, in a hyper competitive market like mainland China in other Asian countries great service is a way for restaurants to stand out. Most restaurants are just trying to do their best, so please have patience.
"The food is greasy.": As someone who loves European food, I can tell you that there is SO MUCH FAT. It's what makes food taste good! Cheese is greasy, jamon is greasy, and croissants are basically half butter. People are just not used to how fats are incorporated into Chinese cuisine. Fats and oils are mediums used to unite the unlimited combination of ingredients and flavors into a tasty dish. There are definitely Chinese restaurants who pride themselves in using less fats and oils but your best bet would be to find someone to make you a home cooked meal.
About this restaurant:
I appreciate that this restaurant is open at non-Spanish hours, like between breakfast time and non and during siesta. On a rainy day, the wonton soup was perfect. This is where real Chinese people go to eat. I would recommend! It's 5 minutes away from the bus station and extremely affordable.- Servicio

We happened upon this place while walking through Barcelona. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and authenticity of the Chinese food. We’ve tried several other « authentic » Chinese foods in the area and this was by far the most authentic and flavourful. We ordered xiaolongbao, noodles, and cabbage. The xiaolongbao was pan fried, not steamed but the flavour was good. The noodles and cabbage were perfectly seasoned and you can tell they are homemade. Would definitely recommend to anybody seeking authentic Chinese food in Barcelona!- Comida

I came here after seeing Chinese families dining inside one night when I walked past, which I considered to be a good sign.
I tried the home-made boiled dumplings, mapo tofu, pork with green peppers, fried eggplants and plain rice and everything was delicious. Not too greasy and full of flavour. Very friendly service despite having interrupted the staff meal. I've tried a lot of Chinese restaurants in the area and this is my new favourite!

Like it, pretty simple and yummy food, we ordered Ramen) cheap, that is really great!! Service was just normal.
An authentic Chinese place. It is not very clean and service here is not as welcoming as in French restaurants, but it has very good food. All locals seems to go here. The soup with homemade noodles is my recommendation (beware, it is huge, so don't order anything else unless your internal glutton has hulk hunger).
If you are looking for the best Chinese food in the city, I can say this place is no doubt the best. They have the most legit Chinese dishes in town and the service is good. They are also available on Glovo for those who are looking to order Chinese food on the app but not sure where to get the best food around. Totally recommend this place.
